Personal Welcome

Thank you for visiting!

Many people say that doctrine are divisive but I beg to disagree because the Scripture is filled with admonition for the believers to guard the good deposit and to watch not only their life but their doctrine closely because these will surely save both them and their hearers. In fact, doctrine should promote unity instead of disunity. There are doctrines that are essential to our salvation that to abandon such is to deny salvation. On the other hand, there are non-essential doctrines that we can agree to disagree and live in charity (love). My goal in this blog is to help you understand your theological foundation so you would be convinced of what you believed. I would like to assume that one of the reasons why you are here is because of your interest in discipleship, evangelism, theology, apologetics, and spiritual growth. There are some topics here that may be quite interesting and thought provoking. A growing number of articles ranging from theology, apologetics, evangelism, discipleship, and others will be uploaded. These articles are intended to help deepen the believer’s foundation so they can be effective in engaging with skeptics and discipling the lost. The articles here will also help you in your personal study of the Scripture so you can be convinced of what you truly believe. Let us not embrace a belief without studying and understanding why we believe what we believe. As the great Christian reformer Martin Luther states,

“Unless I am convicted by Scripture and plain reason. I do not accept the authority of popes and councils, for they have contradicted each other – my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here I stand, I cannot do otherwise. God help me. Amen.”

Remember, theological knowledge without life application and discipleship is just plain information. To get updates on new uploaded articles, you may download a WordPress App via iPhone or an Android.

The articles on this page were originally written and reflects my personal theological views. I understand that as a believer we have varying points of view with regards to how we understand and interpret the Scripture. However, every way of thinking that does not anchor on the truth of God’s word remains to be subjective humanistic opinion that goes against the mind of Christ. It is not about who has the most supporting pet verses rather which perspective has an accurate biblical view of a particular subject that reflects the overall unity of the Scripture. It is my desire and intent to encourage every readers to go back always to the very word of God that we should decrease in every way and Christ will increase in our lives.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15
