Will a person still be saved if he chooses to remain Roman Catholic after receiving salvation in Christ?

In light of Ephesians 2:8-10, John 3:16, 18; Titus 3:5; Romans 11:6; and a great number of other places, the teaching of the Bible is still quite clear that salvation is not by church membership, water baptism, or good deeds; rather, it is by grace through faith. Any person who confesses the truth about salvation is no longer a member of the Roman Catholic institution. I presume that the individual who accepts this Scriptural truth does not venerate statutes and images, no longer believes that obedience to sacraments and good works would save him or her, and does not believe Mary is the Mediatrix of all grace. However, if the person chooses to remain inside the Roman Catholic institution despite experiencing salvation in Jesus Christ, we will not judge him or her. There are numerous reasons why people chose to stick with their religion despite knowing the truth. It's already between the believer and the Lord. But I still advise the new believer to join a healthy church where he or she can grow spiritually in Christ with the other believers as they hear the preaching and teaching of God's Word.
