Is it wrong for a Christian politician to get the political support of non-Christians?

It is not wrong for a Christian leader to seek political support from a non-Christian. After all, they are not discussing religious beliefs here, but rather how to improve their county or city. The issue arises if the Christian politician says something about the founder of the non-Christian religious group that contradicts the teachings of the Christian faith. This gives the impression that he agrees with that non-Christian group's belief system even though he does not. These Christian politicians even go so far as to greet the foundation anniversary of non-Christian religions as if they celebrate with them, despite the fact that these religions have always been hostile to the person of Jesus Christ. And this is a serious spiritual lapse on their part as a follower of Christ. I pray that our Christian politicians who are striving for the votes of their non-Christian voters be careful not to send a message to the body of Christ by appearing to compromise their faith in order to win these people's votes (see Gal. 1:10).
