Is it spiritually safe for a believer to join the Fraternal Order of Eagles? Is this akin to Freemasonry?

I shall refrain from naming any particular fraternal organization, allowing each believer who belongs to any fraternal order to make their own decision. But any "fraternal" group that swears an oath to God or a Higher Being through secret initiation that cannot be revealed in public is working in spiritual darkness. This type of religious organization also tends to "respect" the other members' faith, which hinders believers from sharing the gospel. If this is the case, they are concealing the truth of God's word. The Apostle Paul advises believers against associating with such groups, for what commonality exists between light and darkness (2 Cor. 6:14). I believe the passage from Revelations 18:4 will also be applicable. Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; If you are a believer involved in any charitable organization, I pray you will not miss the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is because any non-governmental group that promotes charitable deeds without presenting the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ merely mimics the essence of Christianity. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. - Ephesians 5:11-12
