Can I call my LGBT friend by the pronoun they prefer?

If you are a Christian and you know the original gender of your friend, I believe it is important to use the same pronoun that person is assigned to after birth. According to the Charlotte Lozier Institute, "For the first few weeks of development, all embryos have both male and female internal reproductive structures, and their external genitalia remains similar for until about 10 weeks gestation. Between 8 and 12 weeks, the baby's internal sex organs start to develop." If your friend was born a male baby boy, address him as he. However, if your friend was born a female baby girl, refer to her as she. Sadly, due to the dread of being accused of discrimination, many believers will refer to the individual by the pronoun he or she subjectively prefers. However, nothing could be further from the truth. A believer must honor God by doing the right thing for no other reason than his or her religious conviction. However, there are many attempts to conform to the norms of this world. I trust that as Christians, we will continue to stand firm on our theological convictions and not give in to the lies of the enemy. Keep in mind that there is power in the tongue because you are making a proclamation. The power of the tongue is that it shapes the mentality and life of the listener. It is not surprising that when you speak the word of God to a person and he genuinely receives it, his life is transformed because the word of God is powerful and effective. The writer of the book of Proverbs states, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits" (Prov. 18:21). And the author of the book of Hebrews says, "For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Heb. 4:12, AMP).
